CSV to Apple Calendar — iPhone, iPad and Mac

Apple Calendar cannot open a CSV file: on iPhone, iPad and Mac it imports calendar files in the .ics format only. Upload your spreadsheet here — a rota, a term calendar, a season of fixtures — and each row becomes an event in an .ics file that Calendar adds in one step.

Opens straight in Calendar

On iPhone and iPad, tap the downloaded file and choose which calendar the events go into. On a Mac, double-click it. No extra app is needed.

On all your Apple devices

Add the events to an iCloud calendar on one device and they appear on the others.

No template to follow

Use the columns you already have. The headers are read and matched to title, date, time, location and description for you.

How to import a CSV into Apple Calendar

  1. Upload your .csv or .xlsx file in the box above. The first row should hold the column headers.
  2. Click Generate. Each row is turned into an event; check the titles, dates and times on screen.
  3. Download the .ics file. On iPhone or iPad, tap it and choose Add All; on a Mac, open it or use File → Import in Calendar.
