Apple Calendar can suggest a flight it finds in the Mail app, but it misses plenty: bookings you read in the Gmail app or in a browser, confirmations sent as PDF attachments, itineraries from a travel agent. Upload the confirmation PDF here and every leg becomes a calendar event — flight number, airports, local times, booking reference — in a file your iPhone, iPad or Mac adds in one step.
No waiting for a suggestion that may never appear. Any confirmation with a flight number, a date and times in it can be turned into an event.
Departure is written in the departure airport’s time zone and arrival in the arrival airport’s, so the event is right wherever your iPhone happens to be.
On iPhone and iPad, tap the downloaded file and choose Add All. On a Mac, double-click it. Add it to an iCloud calendar and it is on every device.
